Mackey Mansion

Join Cross Country Paranormal at Mackay Mansion in Virginia City, NV on June 9, 2023. Built in 1859 by George Hearst, the Mackay Mansion allows people to step back in time into an authentic Victorian era mansion. It is one of the few remaining original structures that survived both major fires in the city. It also is one of the few buildings with original furniture, carpet, wallpaper, chandeliers, and much more. Later owner, John Mackay was one of the Silver Kings of Virginia City in the late 1800s. With reported hauntings being in the dozens, including former servants, little girls, military men, and the former owners the Mackay’s themselves this will be sure to bring everyone an exciting night! Fun fact: Johnny Depp is reported to have had his first paranormal encounter at this location. He stayed here while filming the movie Dead Man and reports having has a little girl dressed in white coming to visit him at the foot of his bed.
